People talk about Work / Life Balance - everything needs to be in balance etc etc. But it's not like that is it? If you're really honest, it's about making sure that you know the priority in your life of any one thing at that specific moment in time.
Family, Work, Relationship, Health, Wealth ... there's more but those are the big ones I focus on.
Yesterday, I took the day off. I've been working hard and I try to get out once a week - away from the desk, away from the housework - and just be. Dad and I went on a waterfall walk, one I've been meaning to try for a bit.
When we got there, I looked as the stairs down and thought "I can't do this." Then I thought: "Yes I can. I'm not same woman I was 12 months ago. Just take it slowly"
So I did. Step by step. Stair by Stair. We stopped at points, let me catch my breath and just enjoyed the joys of the Rainforest on the Atherton Tablelands.
The reward, when I got there, was well worth it.
Life is busy and there's just so many things to remember. What tools do you use to help you keep on top of ALL the things?
Windows 11 Copilot runs automatically on your PC, but what's the real cost? Microsoft's built-in AI assistant affects performance, battery life, and privacy in ways most users don't realise.
In this episode, Charly covers:
✅ Resource usage: RAM, battery drain, and background processes
📌 Privacy concerns about what Copilot accesses on your system
🛡️ Performance impact on computers with 8GB RAM or older hardware
✅ When AI assistance helps versus when it gets in your way
📌 How to disable Copilot system-wide if it's not right for you
Charly breaks down the performance tradeoffs, privacy considerations, and reliability issues so you can make an informed choice. This isn't anti-AI—it's about taking control of your system and deciding which tools actually serve your workflow. Includes step-by-step instructions to turn Copilot off.

Setting up auto-replies in M365 sounds easy—until you're on a limited plan like Outlook Online Plan 1. In this episode, Charly shares the surprisingly tricky process he followed to auto-respond only to specific emails (like contact form inquiries), using Power Automate instead of built-in Outlook settings.
📌 You’ll learn:
✅ Why standard M365 plans don’t support filtered auto-replies
✅ How to use Power Automate to trigger responses by subject or sender
✅ What “Reply-To” means and how to use it safely
✅ How to build a smart fallback if the Reply-To address is missing
✅ Why this method works even when basic Outlook settings don’t
🛡️ This one’s a bit technical — but once it’s set up, it works like a charm.
