People talk about Work / Life Balance - everything needs to be in balance etc etc. But it's not like that is it? If you're really honest, it's about making sure that you know the priority in your life of any one thing at that specific moment in time.
Family, Work, Relationship, Health, Wealth ... there's more but those are the big ones I focus on.
Yesterday, I took the day off. I've been working hard and I try to get out once a week - away from the desk, away from the housework - and just be. Dad and I went on a waterfall walk, one I've been meaning to try for a bit.
When we got there, I looked as the stairs down and thought "I can't do this." Then I thought: "Yes I can. I'm not same woman I was 12 months ago. Just take it slowly"
So I did. Step by step. Stair by Stair. We stopped at points, let me catch my breath and just enjoyed the joys of the Rainforest on the Atherton Tablelands.
The reward, when I got there, was well worth it.

The end of the year creates a natural pause, but your digital systems keep running regardless. Tools, automations, subscriptions and workflows continue by default, even when the circumstances that created them have shifted entirely. In this episode, Charly covers:
✅ Why temporary tech solutions often become permanent by accident
📌 How unfinished decisions create background fatigue and overwhelm
🛡️ The difference between ongoing maintenance and finite closure work
✅ Why fewer inherited systems make January decisions simpler
